Kristine earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a minor in Psychology from Salisbury State University and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College. She is a charter member of Delta Kappa, the Marriage and Family Therapy honor society at Converse.
Her clinical training was completed at WestGate Training and Consultation Network, in Spartanburg, SC (Now Emerge Family Therapy Center & Teaching Clinic). Kristine is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors. She is a trained facilitator for the PREPARE/ENRICH curriculum. Kristine is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Supervisor. Kristine is a member of IS-ART, the International Society of Accelerated Resolution Therapy and a Certified BASIC ART Practitioner. She is a member of IITAP, the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals and a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist, CPTT, candidate. Kristine works with teens through adult ages, who struggle with a variety of clinical diagnosis such as anxiety, depression, and trauma. She has a passion for helping clients achieve their personal goals for therapy and find hope and healing in the process. Kristine's area of specialty focuses on individuals or couples who are facing separation or divorce. She also works with step families and prospective step families, and the issues surrounding this type of dynamic. She has been a DivorceCare facilitator for more than twenty years at her local church. She is pursuing certification as a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist through IITAP. Beginning July 8th, 2024 Kristine will be practicing alongside The Center for Sexual and Relational Health. Scheduling can now be done by calling 864-428-1993 to inquire about availability for new client appointments. She will continue to see clients at 28 Parkway Commons Way, Greer, SC. This change comes with a wonderful administrative team that will be helping her manage scheduling and general questions and will send out appointment reminders through text and email. Kristine does not accept insurance.
