Carolyn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of Kentucky and a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Capella University. She also holds a Certificate in Contemporary Theory in Couple and Family Systems. She is a member of Delta Kappa, The Marriage and Family Therapy Honor Society at Capella University, as well as Chi Sigma Iota, the counseling honor society. Clinical training was received at a public clinic, the Family Counseling Center in Anderson, SC and a private practice, New Beginnings Palmetto in Greenville, SC. She is a member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Carolyn works with young adults through aging adults, who struggle with anxiety, depression, or trauma. Finding hope and achieving personal and therapeutic goals is important. So is providing a safe and healing environment. Carolyn works with individuals and couples facing the trauma of separation or post divorce. She has a heart for aging adults seeking meaning for their season of life, and working with those who struggle with attachment issues. Carolyn Does not accept insurance.
