Susan earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from North Greenville University (NGU), and a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Converse College. She completed her clinical training at WestGate Training and Consultation Network (TCN) in Spartanburg, SC. Susan is a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and is a certified S.T.E.P parenting instructor.
Susan's area of specialty focuses on the effects of trauma, grief and loss. Susan works with clients who struggle with the effects of sexual trauma, physical abuse, mental abuse, emotional neglect, and marital conflict. She works with clients who want to experience personal growth in individual, couples, and family therapy. Other services include consultation to churches experiencing conflict or who desire growth, as well as leadership for Marriage and Adolescent Retreats. Susan is a Marriage and Family Therapist who sifts all knowledge through the word of God. She is currently a member of a small, culturally diverse Southern Baptist congregation in northern Greenville County.
